Mrs. Mehlberg received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/Learning Disabilities, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, and an Early Childhood Add-On from UW-Stevens Point.   She has been the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten teacher at St. Paul Lutheran since 2011.

As a preschool teacher, it is a blessing to meet young children and their families who are eager to witness the love of Jesus when they enter St. Paul Lutheran School.  Being able to teach 3-year olds about Christ through Bible stories, prayer, the Gospel Box, and discussing how Jesus wants us to live, allows the children the opportunity to talk about Him at home and share His love with their families.   God has given me the opportunity to witness the enthusiasm for young children.  I spend time “diving into God’s word” by reading Jesus Calling each morning and reflecting on His words.  This, along with listening to my favorite singer, Chris Tomlin, gives me inspiration each day!

My husband Kurt and I have three children. We are blessed to call St. Paul Lutheran our school family to Ethan, Kaitlin, and Konnor.  When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, reading, and scrapbooking/making cards.  This summer I looked forward to increased time with my family.  Our highlight in June was taking a vacation to Glacier National Park in Montana and visiting family in northern Idaho.
