Mr. Wegner is currently serving as the Principal and teacher of 6th grade Old Testament , 7/8 grade U.S. History, 7/8th grade Discipleship, and LEGO Robotics/Coding and Personal Finance Enrichment classes. He graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Secondary Education Degree in Broad Field Social Science and Theology. He has served in several schools and congregations within in his ministry: Luther North High School in Chicago, IL, St. Andrews Lutheran in Park Ridge, IL, Our Shepherd Lutheran in Birmingham, MI, and St. John Lutheran in West Bend, WI. Mr. Wegner is a graduate of the SLED program (School Leadership Development) within the LCMS. Mr. Wegner is also a member of the Lutheran Education Association and serves on the North Wisconsin District's Accreditation Commission.

Mr. Wegner is humbled to be the principal at St. Paul and yet still has the chance each day to teach and be in the classroom. He LOVES the opportunity to share God’s Word with the students and make it applicable for their daily lives. Mr. Wegner's prayer is that each of the students at St. Paul will continually to grow in their faith-walk with their Lord and Savior each day. At St. Paul we are - "Educating for Life and Nurturing Faith for Eternity."  

Mr. Wegner is married to Jenny and they have two sons - Tyler and Evan. His wife teaches 1st grade at St. Paul. Mr. Wegner has a German short-haired pointer named Pebbles. He loves to collect baseball memorabilia. He has been blessed to visit Washington, D.C.  15x in his career - leading many 8th grade class trips. He cheers on his Wisconsin sports teams and enjoys spending time with family. When he has time, he likes to read a good historical biography – preferably on any of the U.S. Presidents.
